Lunar Eclipse

Hubby and I decided to have a go at taking some photos of the Lunar Eclipse last night. This is the best shot that we got, and it’s not bad given that we don’t have a telescopic lense (we used the 90-300mm lense on my Canon 400D) or tripod.
A shame we didn’t have a play with the manual settings a bit earlier to get some partial eclipse pics…but you live and learn :)
And guess who’s getting a tripod now ?? hehe

shadow and i went up to a mountain setting- no interference with street lights etc, and shadow decided to go for an adventure- without me.

suffice to say, i did not take any moon pics, and i am still not speaking to shadow. However, he is sucking up big time to me.

Wow ! I think this is a great shot. It’s just as we saw it only closer and clearer. Well done !!!

The mountain setting sounds like a great idea John…shame that Shadow decided to go a-wandering *naughty boy*

I’m sure my photo isn’t nearly as good as you would have taken, but I’m happy to share it with you :)

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Can you all tell how much I am loving my camera ?? :D

I asked my son to let me know when the cloud had cleared enough for me to see, whilst I was multi tasking inside, and he replied dont worry, you’ll get to see it again in four years………sigh*
