Ideas : Valentine’s Day + 8 mth old baby
Published 1 year, 9 months ago in My life.Does anyone have any ideas of what my hubby and I can do for Valentine’s Day ?
This is the first year in six years that my eldest son will be with his Dad (we usually go out for dinner on another night instead), but we now have an 8 month old baby and no babysitter. Oh, and I don’t fancy spending the night caring for the baby AND cooking a romantic meal (where’s the fun in that for me ??).
Oh, and happy Valentine’s Day everyone

Can’t you get your parents to babysit for you for one night so you and your hubby can go out for a nice romantic dinner? I’m sure they would understand. At 8 mths old is a bit too young to hire a babysitter but someone close to the family will be better. Every mum deserves a break.
No, my mum is sick, my dad lives interstate, and my inlaws live overseas. My brother and sister will probably want to spend the evening with their partners.
Hm, that’s a tough one. How about a good friend who is still single?
